Gary Grieg

During Grieg’s illustrious career he has worked with some of the industry’s most distinguished filmmakers: Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Hyams, William Fraker, Jorden Cronenweth, Mick Jackson and Blaine Novak to name a few. 

Gary has shot and/or directed a multitude of National TV spots for clients including Volkswagen, McDonalds, IKEA, BlueCross BlueShield, PBS, Virginia Lottery, Cable One, PA Tourism, US Telecom, Herbalife, Pepsi, Adidas, Wal-Mart, Johnson & Johnson. His work has garnered a half dozen American Advertising Awards, Advertising’s highest honor. In fact in 2013 he won 9 Addies.

In addition to his production experience, Gary has worked as an editor for several years. This experience has informed his work as a director and cinematographer. In the last several years, he has traveled the world shooting and directing dozens of shows for National Geographic, PBS, Discovery Channel, HBO, Showtime, Columbia Pictures Television and The National Paint and Coatings Institute. For this work, Gary has earned numerous awards including Emmys and Cine Golden Eagles. 

His extensive training, wide range of experience, and intuitive pictorial acumen are a strong foundation for a rapidly evolving body of work that is poignant, smart, engaging and persuasive.
